COVID-19 status checks

As organisers of Channel Live, we regard the health and safety of everyone participating in the show as of paramount importance. We are continuously updating our guidelines based on the government recommendations and working alongside the NEC with their venue protect strategy to make this happen.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the NEC for a safe and enjoyable event.

In line with the changes to Government guidance, visitors no longer require to pass through COVID-19 status checks and face coverings are no longer essential.

We encourage all visitors, including those who are double vaccinated / had their booster, to still take a lateral flow test before entering the venue.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus, have tested positive within 10 days prior to the event, or have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace, then please do not enter into this event and follow the current government guidance.

Although no longer essential, we encourage people to continue wearing face coverings indoors [and on the NEC shuttle buses].

We have introduced 3m aisles where possible across the entire event to encourage social distancing.

Please remember to respect the space of others  and if possible avoid handshaking or hugs, consider an elbow bump instead.

All communal areas are cleaned frequently, and we continue to maintain the cleaning of high contact surfaces throughout event days along with deep cleans in all public areas.

Hand sanitising stations placed throughout the venue and their use is encouraged for visitors and staff.

If possible please carry your own hand sanitiser and apply when you enter and leave exhibitor stands, features and theatres.

When you register for the event, please provide accurate information.

We continue to support contract tracing through promoting use of the Government’s NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app. The NHS QR code is also displayed at the entrances to the NEC, so visitors can use this facility on arrival.

Air quality and ventilation:
In line with government guidelines, the NEC
provide the optimum amount of fresh air to all spaces to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
