Crissi is passionate about helping young people in STEM and has steered the ITP’s focus in this direction; matching young members with mentors and providing unlimited access to training and development opportunities. She is often asked to comment on apprenticeships and has taken part in numerous industry discussions on what can be done to fill the skills gap and grow tomorrow’s workforce.

With more than 22 years’ experience in the telecoms sector, which began with Virgin Media Business, Carol is a people-orientated, process-driven customer service specialist who ensures Vapour joins the dots when delivering any project, large or small. Passionate about purposeful digital transformation which leverages the very best of technology and talent, she fuels innovation in companies throughout the UK. Her role touches every department in the business, which means she bridges the gap between sales, operations, technical team and ongoing customer support. A passionate speaker on a range of topics, she is a true ambassador for women in tech – and a lifelong Celtic fan!
Passionate about making a difference, Kay’s professional career prior to WISE focused on improving the health and wellbeing of people in society, through a variety of senior leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical industry, including board-level roles for the UK & EU. Kay’s volunteering efforts have been aligned to helping others advance their learning and capability to proactively enhance outcomes. Activities include roles as a STEM Ambassador working with local schools and colleges, serving as a Business Mentor and part of the governing body for NE Futures UTC, representing the Life Sciences industry as a senior leader in the First for Pharma network, providing private tutoring for students in Sciences and Maths, and serving as a Board Trustee for a mental health and wellbeing charity (Cygnus Support) in Northumberland.

Cherie Howlett is Chief Marketing Officer at Jola and was one of the founding members. She has held high-level marketing positions in the channel for over 17 years. She won the first Comms Business ‘Women in Channel’ award and the Entrepreneur of the year award in 2019. She has built some well-known channel brands, a partner base of over 1000 Jola partners and continues to drive rapid business growth. Cherie continually strives to create an inclusive and diverse culture at Jola, which was recognised by the Comms Business Diversity in the Workplace award in 2020.

Lauren Dutnall, Chief of Staff at Vorboss, has seen the Vorboss grow from 16 to 300 employees in just 12 months. With a passion for employee experience, training and development and an inclusive workforce, Lauren shares her vision for creating and maintaining healthy company culture at scale. Vorboss, the UK’s only dedicated enterprise network, are challenging the telecoms status quo by building a very different type of fibre company with inclusivity and opportunity at its heart.
